Pedro and Victor Moses scored either side of the interval for the Blues, who were forced to come from behind after Christian Eriksen had fired the visitors into an early lead.
It was a seventh straight Premier League victory, Tottenham’s first league defeat of the campaign and a result which sent us to the top of the table.
‘It was a very difficult game for us but we’re really happy with the win and we want to continue in the right way,’ said Pedro, who drew us level with a brilliant strike on the stroke of half-time. ‘We must take it game by game.
‘I scored to help the team, which is good. Now we have great stability and high confidence, this was another important win.
‘It was a good goal and in the second half the team were really strong. The second goal from Victor came from a beautiful combination and the team are in the right way.’
The Spaniard went on to explain what Antonio Conte had said at half-time.
‘He told us to press high and concentrate between the lines. He told us to mark more aggressively and that was the most important thing. It was a good game for us and the supporters.’
Moses picked up the Man of the Match award for the second game in succession after latching on to a Diego Costa cross and scoring the winner.
‘I’m very pleased with the goal but the most important thing was the three points,’ said the Nigerian. ‘I thought they started well, they scored a beautiful goal and there was nothing we could do about it, but we got ourselves back into the game, we got the three points and we’re very pleased with that.
‘I’ve definitely found a home here, it’s my club. I’m pleased to be playing this season, the manager has given me an opportunity to express myself and I’m relishing it at the moment. I just want to keep on playing football and enjoying myself whenever I’m out there.’Google.com
